Walkful reads your activity from Apple Health, so if everything shows zero, Health access is usually the reason. iOS doesn't tell apps when read access is declined, so Walkful can't detect this directly. To check:
If access is on and steps still look wrong, open the Apple Health app and check that steps appear there — Walkful shows the same merged total that Health does.
The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets refresh on a schedule that iOS controls, so a short delay after a walk is normal. Opening the app refreshes them immediately. If a widget seems stuck, removing it and adding it again usually resolves it.
Walkful Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription to cancel. If you've bought Pro before (or on another device with the same Apple Account), use Restore purchase on the Pro screen. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
Walkful collects nothing — no accounts, no servers, no tracking. The full details are in the privacy policy. Since your data never leaves your device, there is no account to delete and nothing for us to look up; deleting the app deletes everything.
Walkful is open source. If you're technically inclined, you can browse known issues or report bugs directly on GitHub — otherwise email works just as well.
The FAQ on the front page covers the common questions: how Walkful differs from Apple Health, the science behind the ~7,000-step goal, Apple Watch support, pricing, and how the gentle reminders work.
