Summary: Walkful collects nothing. All data stays on your device.
Walkful is private by design. It has no servers, no user accounts, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Your health and activity data is read from Apple Health, processed entirely on your iPhone, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. Walkful's App Store privacy label is therefore "Data Not Collected".
With your explicit permission, Walkful reads activity data from Apple Health (such as steps, walking distance, flights climbed, active minutes and resting heart rate) to display your progress and insights. This data is used only on your device and is never stored on a server, shared, or sold. Walkful does not write any data back to Apple Health. You can revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app or Settings.
None. Walkful does not collect personal data, does not track you across apps or websites, and contains no advertising. Your settings (such as your daily goal) are stored locally on your device.
If you have enabled Apple's standard "Share with App Developers" setting, iOS may send Apple aggregated crash and performance reports via Apple's MetricKit framework. This is handled by Apple under your existing system-level consent; Walkful operates no analytics service of its own.
This marketing website (walkful.iamjarl.com) uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to count anonymous page views. It sets no cookies and does not collect personal data or build profiles. It is separate from the app, which still collects nothing.
Walkful does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it collects no data at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
